(0.8 CEU; 50 minutes) This micro course outlines the most important concepts to understand how steam and hydronic heating systems work along with the problems that in fact these systems. Steam systems are a little easier to understand and hydronic systems, but their problems are more difficult to solve. Steam systems need more maintenance that hydronic systems. If the installer sets up a hydronic system correctly during installation, the system might work for 50 years without any further maintenance.
