Blower doors give you an initial measurement of the leakiness of a building so you can budget the appropriate time and money for air sealing. During air sealing, workers can measure their air-sealing progress. After you complete the air sealing work, the blower door measures the final air-leakage rate so that you can calculate the cost-effectiveness of the air sealing work.
