WX Energy Auditor
This course is tailored specifically for the DOE Weatherization Program and similar utility-funded programs. It is based on the “Core Competencies for the Weatherization Assistance Program” developed by the Weatherization Trainers Consortium. The course is also compliant with the BPI Building Analyst Standards.
This is an 8-week course that includes the following features:
- Courses start the first Friday of every month
- New topics are introduced every Friday
- Topics include narrated slide shows, narrated videos, interactive lessons, reading assignments and quizzes
- The website is always open so you can set your own schedule
- The Classroom Discussion allows students to interact with the instructor as well as other students
Each week presents a different weatherization topic, using narrated slide shows, videos, interactive lessons, and a 10 question quiz. A final exam is delivered in the 8th week, along with some useful information on client education and technical communication that isn't part of a quiz or the final exam.
