Building Science Overview

This course is an introduction or overview of the fields of Energy Auditing and Building Science. The content in this course is derived from our full Energy Auditor Certification course. If an individual has already taken that course, then it should be understood that this overview course contains much of the same content and should be considered a refresher course.

The enrollment period is 30 days from the date of enrollment.

For existing HERS Raters this course qualifies for 4 CEUs toward the required 12 annual CEUs to retain their certification.

For existing BPI Building Analysts this course qualifies for 20 hours of continuing education.

This course relies heavily on video and narrated presentations whose large file sizes require a broadband internet connection. 512kbps or higher is recommended. A dial-up connection is not fast enough.
