RESNET National HERS Rater Certification Examination

The RESNET HERS Rater certification is intended for those individuals who conduct HERS Ratings. As part of this achieving this certification HERS Rater candidates must pass the National HERS Rater Exam. Training such as we deliver through Saturn Online is strongly recommended prior to taking this exam, but candidates may choose to challenge the exam if they wish. If you don't think you are prepared for this exam you should enroll in one of our Energy Auditor courses. It is important to note that passing this exam does not complete the HERS Rater certification requirements. For your HERS Rater Certification to be complete you will need to complete two Training HERS Ratings within 12 months of passing this examination. Our online Energy Auditor classes give you the opportunity to complete a "projected rating" which qualifies as one of the required training ratings. At least one of the two training ratings must be a Confirmed Rating performed on a real house in the presence of a RESNET Training Provider.
