We deliver online courses for energy professionals. Our students may need to prepare for certification exams, expand their careers, fulfill job training requirements, or accumulate continuing education credits.

The cost of textbooks is additional: Residential Energy and the Energy Auditor Field Guide are the supporting textbooks for most of our courses.

We offer offer courses at two different levels:

Certification & Proficiency courses provide training to those who are career-oriented or who are working toward professional certifications. These courses are typically mentored and guided by online instructors with lessons and resources provided in weekly segments. Most students sign up for one of these courses.

Overview courses provide simpler training for those who are just starting in the field of energy auditing. Entry-level staff members who implement weatherization programs are good candidates for these courses. These courses are typically self-paced with support available from instructors via email and forums.

Our Building Analyst and HERS Rater course is directed toward auditors who plan to take the BPI/Building Analyst Professional exam and/or the RESNET HERS Rater exam. Our Weatherization Energy Auditor course is tailored specifically for the DOE Weatherization Assistance Program and utility conservation programs.
